"The Foundation” is a series of inspirational and positive artwork. The series highlights the importance of having motivational, healthy guardians or parents in children's lives. It further demonstrates the correlation on how a child's future can be positively impacted based on what is set as the cornerstone in their upbringing.

Champion's inspiration originates from her observations, especially as a teacher, of parental connection with their children and her own upbringing with her father. She notices that the trajectory of the future generation is dependent on individuals that pour life, joy, strength, and wisdom into their lives. This art piece  serves to prompt reflection and conversation about the values, principles, and knowledge that is being instilled and taught to the upcoming generation.
